Our Client is looking for a Security Architect to Develop and implement their IT security architecture framework and strategy. The candidiate will Provide expert-level advice
for security design and planning of enterprise-wide networks, technology infrastructure, middleware, platforms, and applications to ensure appropriate levels of risk. 
In addition, they will assess security architecture to determine areas of vulnerability or flawed design.

Duties

Provide leadership and direction on high-level, comprehensive security architecture solutions and designs.
Own, enrich and extend current enterprise information security architecture.
Ensure that business strategy, IT enterprise security and implementation are aligned.
Gather technical and business requirements, develop roadmaps and communicates Enterprise Security Technology strategy.
Lead develop and provide input to technical designs in enterprise security solutions.
Support the definition and selection of enterprise security standards including tools, technology, applications, and processes.
Ensure that all models and implementations can be traced to specific business requirements, policies and key principles.
Assist in the development of project plans and deliverable lists for proposed projects.
Participates in the review and approval of enterprise architecture frameworks and guiding principles.
Research new vendors, technologies and industry best practices.
Evaluate relevancy and impact of implementing new security architecture technologies and methodologies.
Ensure technical standards, implementations and designs enable business and security requirements.
Lead and/or facilitate review of physical security design for solutions in the enterprise.
Provide and document traceability from the security policies down to the underlying technology and its use.
Assist in the evaluation and approval for exceptions to the IT enterprise security architecture framework.
Consult, advise, and participate in project teams regarding security architecture and technical implementation.
Coach and mentor other team members as required.

Requirements:

5 years experience in technology and systems design roles.
5 years experience in security solution design and security architecture.
1-2 years consulting experience.
Experience writing security standards, how to mature programs, cloud computing, virtualization and SaaS required.
Requirements analysis and strategic planning experience in a multi-platform environment.
Expert level knowledge of existing and emerging security technologies.
Experience designing and implementing security solutions for applications, infrastructure, and networks.
Strong consulting, leading and mentoring skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Previous experience as a lead architect on multiple large scale projects.
Security design experience within a large enterprise.
Bachelor's in CS, MIS or equivalent work experience.
