Our Client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to work with the business and with an outside vendor to define requirements, partner with the business to map the data into our tool, test support, etc. The candidate may also need to coordinate with our data warehouse team as the DW is sourcing the data for loading into the tool via a data mart. The ideal candidate will have had experience working on claims data and data projects.

Duties

Develop and document system and functional requirements for new or changing applications within a business and executing necessary production support activities.
Serve as consultants to business units in planning and coordinating systems analysis, design, and implementation/enhancement (M&E) projects to automate processing or improve business systems.
Developing and improve business processes, assist in metrics development, both within the technology and business organizations.
Provide consultation to projects teams and ensures traceability of business requirements through all stages of development.
Conduct solutioning/assessment activities to define large, complex, enterprise-wide projects/programs.
Ensure that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.
Work directly with business partners to understand business objectives and formulate solutions (systems, processes, and procedures) to parallel and strengthen overall business strategies.
Track SD team activities and metrics, develops reports, analyzes metrics for trends and makes recommendations for improvement; provides support for production issues such as monitoring production cycles, performing configuration updates, and testing production fixes; works with outsource vendors to monitor and ensure appropriate support levels.

Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years experience.
5+ years of strong Analyst or Project Management experience, with demonstrated use of the project management “life cycle,” including tools and methodologies.
BA or BS degree in Systems, IT, Business Management, or related degree.
Healthcare is a MUST.

Desired:

Experience with fraud and abuse management would be helpful.
