Q: Why do you insist on meeting everyone in person? A: We believe we get a much better idea for who a consultant or customer is if we meet with them in person rather than over the telephone. This is one of the tricks of the trade that makes us more effective than the rest. It is also a way for you to check us out and make sure we are the type of people that you want to work with.
Q: Do you hire staff consultants? A: We hire contractors who work hourly for The Revolution Group at the assigned client. Our consultants get paid for the hours they work versus a salary. We also place consultants as direct permanent employees of our customers or on a temp to hire basis for those candidates looking to try out a company before taking a fulltime position.
Q: What happens at the end of my contract? ie: bench time, helping to find new position etc. A: Our Account Executive will be in contact with you and your manager through the entire contract. In advance we will be told the last day of the contract and will start looking for a new position for you about 2-4 weeks in advance. This will help transition you to a new position without downtime between assignments. If we don’t have anything firm at the time then we continue to work with you and understand that you must use your own network to job search. Of course it’s our goal to have you work with us as long as possible through many assignments.
Q: Who do I contact with questions while I’m working on assignment? A: The Account Executive is typically on site at the client 1-3 days a week. Therefore there is a Revolution Group contact to speak with in person on a regular basis. Also, the Recruiter that you work with here at The Revolution Group is always available by phone and/or email. We also have a great team of administrators that you will have access to.
