Jackie Robinson - The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) is a public, not-for-profit national organization founded by Rachel Robinson in 1973 as a vehicle to perpetuate the memory of Jackie Robinson and his achievements. Serving as an advocate for young people with the greatest need, the Foundation assists increasing numbers of minority youths through the granting of four-year scholarships for higher education. Jimmy Fund - The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping to raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. The Jimmy Fund's donors have helped to fund one of the greatest medical success stories of the past 50 years - the improvement in cure rates for childhood cancers, from less than 10 percent to greater than 70 percent and as high as 90 percent for some forms of the disease.
